Copper strengthens on stockists buying

NEW DELHI, Nov 9:  Copper prices strengthened by Rs 2 per kg on local non-ferrous base metals market today on stockists buying due to increased industrial demand from consuming industries.
Traders said stockists buying on the back of increased demand from consuming industries mainly strengthen copper prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap advanced by Rs 2 to Rs 436 per kg.
The following are today’s metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 119-125, nickel plate (4×4) 1,050-1,051 gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 436, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 148,lead imported 146, aluminium ingots 150, Aluminium sheet cutting 151, aluminium wire scrap 153 and aluminium utensils scrap 150. (PTI)
