JAMMU, Feb 23: Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha released the new edition of Vijeshwar Panchang for the year 2023-24 at a function at Senate Club, New Delhi today in presence of its Editor, Pt. Avtar Krishan Shastri and other dignitaries.
On the occasion, Lt Governor highly acclaimed the role of the Jyotshis in keeping the ancient Indian culture and ethos alive. He also lauded the role of Kashmiri Jyotshis and said it is good that new generations are also taking keen interest in keeping the age old traditions and customs alive which are the beauty of Indian culture.
The Vijeshwar Panchang is being published by Pt Omkar Nath Shastri, Pt Bushan Lal Shastri and Avtar Krishan Shastri and its significance is equal to a dharmic granth for Kashmir Pandits.
