KISHTWAR, Feb 23: As part of public outreach initiatives, Ratle Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (RHPC) here today provided an Ambulance to district administration Kishtwar for catering health service needs of Drabshalla and surrounding areas.
The ambulance has been provided to enable the Health Department of Kishtwar to provide better medical and relief services to the needy people of Drabshalla and surrounding areas and to render various humanitarian services like taking the sick and ailing poor patients of remote areas to hospitals.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) RHPC, Deepak Saigal formally handed over the key of the Ambulance to Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav in presence of CMO Kishtwar, Dr. Mohd Youqub Mir, other senior officers of RHPC and officials of Health and District Red Cross Society in a function.
Meanwhile, DC Kishtwar flagged off the ambulance and lauded the initiative of RHPC saying that the ambulance will be instrumental in providing better emergency response and timely care of trauma cases in the area.
