JAMMU, Feb 24: SSP Traffic Jammu City Faisal Qureshi today chaired first meeting of the Traffic Police officials of the City and called for ensuring that there are no traffic jams in the City and outskirts which cause inconvenience to the public.
Qureshi called upon the Traffic Police officials to always remain on toes and help ensure smooth flow of traffic in their areas of jurisdiction.
He also called upon the people to cooperate with Traffic Police and strictly adhere to Traffic laws like no parking of vehicles in No Parking Zone, wearing helmets, no triple riding etc.
“All those violating the Traffic rules will have to face action under rules,” Qureshi said.
Qureshi, who was recently posted as SSP Traffic City after serving as Joint Director SSF at Raj Bhawan for two and half years, called upon the Traffic Police officials to also keep strict vigil on over speeding which could lead to mishaps.
