Ensure agriculture schemes reach to farmers: Jebaliya

JAMMU, Feb 25: The Working Committee meeting of J&K BJP Kissan Morcha was held here at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, today.
The Working Committee meeting was addressed by Babubhai Jebaliya, national general secretary of Kissan Morcha; party general secretary (Org), Ashok Koul, Vibodh Gupta and Devender Manyal general secretaries BJP J&K; Sarabjit Singh Johal, president, Kissan Morcha J&K and DDC Ramgarh, Hatam Singh Nagar, Prabhari Kissan Morcha J&K and other senior leaders of party.
Babubhai Jebaliya showed his full satisfaction over the working of Kisaan Morcha activists in the Union Territory. He asked them to organize mass awareness programmes in the rural areas in order to ensure that the agriculture schemes of Centre and State Governments like Kissan Sammaan Nidhi, Kissan Credit Card, Kissan Fasal Bima, Soil Health Card, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), National Agriculture Market (e-NAM), SVAMITVA Yojana, and many more such schemes reach to the intended farmer population. All farmers stand in support with PM, Narendra Modi and any rumour floated by the unscrupulous elements will be cleared in no time, he added.
He also spoke on the issue of national farming and millets. He exhorted upon party workers to impart awareness about the use of millets and organic farming.
Ashok Koul said that the farmers’ issues are till date best addressed by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government at the Centre. He said that the earlier Governments led by Congress intentionally did not work for the welfare of farmers and doing only fake propaganda on Kissan Bill.
Koul laid stress upon taking the farmer welfare policies to the farming community with an aim to provide them maximum benefit of Central sponsored schemes.
Vibodh Gupta spoke on role of Kisan Morcha in coming polls in the UT and asked them to prepare themselves by imparting awareness among the people of key achievements of the party. He prompted the Morcha leaders to increase their working and be ready for the forthcoming elections.
Devender Manyal analyzed the current political situation in J&K after abrogation of Article 370 from the erstwhile State. He said that all the achievements in J&K have been possible after abrogating Articles 370 and 35A.
During the meeting, Harbans Choudhary, Kissan Morcha State vice president read a resolution.
Sarabjit Singh Johal, president BJP Kissan Morcha, J&K, threw light on the upcoming programmes of the Centre related to Kissan Morch.
Rakesh Pant, general secretary of Morcha for J&K conducted the proceedings of the programme.
