Dogra Front, Shiv Sena protests against price rise

JAMMU, Nov 9: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leader ship of its president, Ashok Gupta took out a procession from Rani Park to City Chowk against the inflation of the price of vegetables by taking vegetable basket in their hands and raising slogans against the UPA Government.
Addressing the protestors, Gupta said in essential food items like onion, potato, tomato which are grown in Maharashtra, the home State of the Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, there has been a 100% surge in the prices because the concerning agriculture Minister has hoarded up these commodities.
Earlier the vegetables used to get costly due to the climatic factors but now the pulses, cooking oil and other things which are used for food consumption are now very costly due to which the people of this country are not  able to fulfill their basic necessities of life.
The protestors were demanding Sharad Pawar’s resignation as they alleged that he is responsible for spreading corruption in the past as well as in the present and minting money ahead of the upcoming polls by acting like a middleman.
