Srinagar, Feb 25: Security forces today launched a cordon and search operation in Lowdara village of Bandipora district this evening.
An official said that the operation was launched afer a few gun shots were heard from the village.
“Soon after the incident, a joint team of 14RR and SOG Bandipora launched a search operation in Lowdara and Vijahara areas of the village,”the official said.
“A few gunshots were heard at around 09:25 pm near Lowdara village following which a search operation was launched in the area of the village,” an official said, adding, the search operation is underway and the details about the incident are awaited.
