RAJOURI, Feb 25: Eleven bovine animals were rescued today by Rajouri Police.
“During regular checking/frisking of vehicles at Kallar naka, a truck bearing registration number HP-11 4861 which was on its way towards Poonch from Jammu, was intercepted for checking by a police team headed by Incharge Police Post Chatyar Chingus PSI Sahil Chowdhary,” a police spokesperson said.
He said during checking, 11 bovine animals without any permission were found loaded in the vehicle. “In this regard, cognizance was taken under relevant sections of law,” the spokesman added.
