UDHAMPUR, Feb 27:A Scooty rider was knocked to death by a Bolero car on the National Highway, near Jakhani, here this evening.
The deceased was identified as Sanduru (30), son of Churu, resident of Sallian Talab Udhampur.
According to the police report, an unidentified Bolero car, which was on its way from Kashmir to Jammu, hit Scooty (JK14E-3091) near Jakhani late evening. Locals and Police rushed the critically injured Scooty rider to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Udhampur Police has registered the case in this connection and further investigation was started to trace the Bolero car involved in the accident.
