The Department of School Education has issued promotion orders for elevation of masters as incharge lecturers in various subjects. The promotees have now been adjusted and placed in various institutions. It is worthwhile to mention that the most important subject that is the subject of environmental science has not been touched. There are a lot of vacant posts of lecturers in the subject of environmental science and a sizeable number of post graduate masters/teachers whose service particulars have been verified at least three times,serving in the Education Department and managing higher secondary classes for the last so many years and not even a single master/teacher has been promoted as lecturer in the subject till now, envoinmenment being the cause of concern and vitally important subject. The Deputy Chief Minister (Minister for School Education) is requested to kindle take personal interest, look into the matter, and issue instructions for elevation of post graduate masters/teachers in the subject of environmental sciences to lecturers so that the masters are given their due and encouraged, the students are benefitted and their classwork is carried on smoothly.
