Thieves decamp with gold worth Rs 10 lakh from residential house

SAMBA, Feb 28:Thieves decamped with gold ornaments worth about 10 lakh in Jasath village of Ghagwal area of Samba during broad day light today.
According to the information, the owner of house, Darbari Lal, son of Bihari Lal, had gone to take part in a religious discourse, when he returned he was stunned to see the crowd which had gathered outside his residence.
As the information was received, Ghagwal Police Station in-charge, Bharat Bhushan reached the spot and started the investigation. The police also checked the CCTV cameras installed in the area. Darbari Lal said that on returning home the lock of the lobby and the room was broken.
The house was ransacked and house hold items were lying scattered. The thieves have entered the house through the rooftop and then they broke the lock of the lobby and room and ran away with all the gold ornaments lying inside the house!
In this connection, the police have registered a case and started further action.
