Police launches crackdown on bikers

SAMBA, Feb 28: On the directions of SSP Samba, Benam Tosh, Samba police have launched vigorous crackdown on bikers who are using modified silencers and creating nuisance for the public and trouble for the police in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Ramgarh. Several bikes have been seized and challaned for violating rules and drive is going on.
Complaints were pouring in from the public that certain elements were fond of making stunts on roads, markets and streets using modified silencers fitted in their bikes (Bullets) thereby causing inconvenience to the general public, students and elders of the society.
Vigorous drive against trouble-mongers using modified silencers in their bikes and plying stunts is underway by police teams of PS Ramgarh led by SHO PS Ramgarh, Sudesh Kumar under the supervision of SDPO, Vijaypur Priyanka Kumari and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary in entire Ramgarh sector of Samba district and action has been taken against several bikers so far, several bikes have been seized and several challaned so far.
SSP Samba, Benam Tosh has appealed to the teachers, elders of the society and parents to rein children and ask them to desist from using modified silencers, making deadly stunts, over-speeding and any act as to endanger their own lives as well as the lives of commuters.
