UDHAMPUR, Nov 10: Water Works (PHE) employees has taken exception to the designs of some vested interests who were out to mis-lead the cadre by issuing fake statements to the press.
Addressing a press conference here, general secretary of the PHE employees Association, Vijay Kumar, stated that on November 6, only one deputation of PHE employees had called on Commissioner/ Secretary PHE, I&FC Department here, which fact could be verified from the concerned Superintending Engineer, but astonishingly a press report appeared on November 8 in press that a deputation had met the concerned Commissioner-cum-secretary, which was very far from the truth.
Association has asked the self-styled leaders to desist from issuing fake and false press releases at the behest of some unscrupulous elements.
Others in the press conference were Suraj Parkash, Subash Chander, Shiv Lal, Amardev, Somraj, Janait Ali etc.
