REASI, Nov 11: In separate cases, Police today arrested three bootleggers and seized liquor pouches from their possession.
Two accused, namely Mukesh Kumar of Mathyal and Arun Kumar of Bakkal, were arrested by Police during the checking of counter number 2 at Katra. Thirty poly pouches of J&K Excise liquor were seized from the duo who was smuggling the same for their illegal sale in Katra town.
Another bootlegger, namely Kaka Ram of Kotli Mangotrian in Reasi was arrested by police near Sullah when he was smuggling 38 poly pouches to J&K Excise liquor.
Police has registered both the cases under Excise Act.
