JAMMU, Nov 11: In a petition filed by Des Raj Bhagat, father of deceased Arvind Raj Bhagat seeking CBI probe into Kishtwar riots, High Court today passed conditional order regarding appearance of SP Kishtwar on next date of hearing.
When the petition came up for hearing, Senior Additional Advocate General, Gagan Basotra appearing for the State submitted that as per the earlier direction he had asked SP Kishtwar to file status report but he has failed to do so.
After hearing Advocate Parimoksh Seth appearing for the petitioner whereas Senior AAG Gagan Basotra for the State, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal directed SP Kishtwar to appear in person on next date of hearing. “If the status report is filed then the personal appearance of SP Kishtwar will be dispensed with”, he added.
