JAMMU, Mar 4: Well known contemporary artist of Jammu, Suman Gupta has been invited for a major international group show at Helsinki, Finland.
The month-long exhibition shall open at ‘Gallery Albert XI’ in Helsinki on February 7, 2023. This major group show includes works of some great contemporary Indian and Finnish artists.
Suman Gupta is lone participant from India amongst few Finnish artists who has been handpicked from all the major disciplines of contemporary art.
The show is being curated by a Finnish artist and curator Maija Yla Sahra.
Suman Gupta is a serious and research oriented painter with his objective reality and his every new work explores the hidden reality with consistency and conviction as moral undercurrent.
He has been working in the ancient technique of egg tempera and dry brush for the past more than three decades and has produced few new works in the recent time which shall be part of this show.
