Vikar led JKPCC delegation visits Duksar in Gool

RAMBAN, Mar 4: The Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today expressed dismay over the arrangements made for the families affected due to the land sinking in Duksar village (Panchayat Dalwa) of Gool area of Ramban District and demanded their immediate rehabilitation.
JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani led senior Party leader’s delegation to Duksar village where he met 16 families whose houses were completely damaged due to the land sinking and expressed anguish over their living condition in tents provided by the Govt after occurrence of unfortunate incident of land sinking.
Wani found the arrangements unsatisfactory while expressing dismay over the hardships confronting affected families on account of basic facilities. He said providing tents to sixteen affected families would not address their residential issues, Government must ensure their proper rehabilitation on priority basis ensuring that they (affected families) feel safe and live peacefully.
JKPCC President strongly urged upon the Govt to provide full compensation to affected families and rehabilitate them fully besides ensuring every basic facilities.
Wani also expressed solidarity with the affected families and assured them all possible help from Congress Party.
