JAMMU, Mar 4: Dr Ranjit Singh, a renowned joint replacement surgeon, performed successful both knee replacement on a 75-year-old lady hailing from Sunderbani (Rajouri), with his ‘Zero Error’ technique.
Dr Ranjit is the inventor of Zero Error technique, a revolutionary technique which ensures minimal cut and almost nil blood loss leading to a quicker recovery and miraculous results.
Recently, a patient Toshi Devi (75) hailing from Sunderbani consulted Dr Ranjit for her knee problem at KD Hospital, Jammu and was convinced that she is in safe hands. The very next day she got both her knees replaced in the same sitting.
The surgery was performed in just 30 minutes and the patient was made to walk the very next day along with proper rehabilitation by the expert physiotherapist Dr Chetna, who heads the Department of Physiotherapy at KD Hospital, Jammu. The patient progressed well and was discharged within 3 days.
Dr Ranjit Singh is Oxford (UK) trained surgeon and has more than 16000 successful surgeries to his credit with 100% success rate. He is inventor of “Zero Error Technique” which has surpassed the existing methods of knee replacement and has is more beneficial than robotic technique as it’s much quicker with minimal complications.
“As the technology used in best knee replacements has improved, younger or more active people are now having better results from knee replacement surgery,” Dr Ranjit said, adding, even the medical conditions like diabetes, hypothyroid, heart ailments can be taken care of.
He said the expertise of the surgeon is paramount as the requirements and complications differ from patient to patient and this minimally invasive Zero Error technique has benefits of very small cut and minimal blood loss with speedy recovery. The added benefits include very short surgical procedure which again prevents infection, he added.
