Sify Launches its 5th Data Centre at Noida

NEW DELHI, Nov 12:  IT firm Sify Technologies Ltd today announced the launch of its fifth Data Centre at Noida,  India.
Constructed at a cost of 30 million dollars for the first phase, this ‘Green’ Data Centre is design-certified as Tier III  by The Uptime Institute and features cutting-edge technology and infrastructure, the company said in a statement.
The DC has a total capacity of 10 Megawatts, and is optimised for high density computing, it said.
“Our Data Centre strategy is the epicenter of our transformation story. In the past 12 years, we have built 5 Data Centres, 6 State Data Centres and have recently connected over 36 Data Centres across India with our high-capacity data network,” Kamal Nath, CEO, Sify Technologies, said.
The Noida Data Centre is an important milestone in company’s journey to becoming a strategic ICT partner to  its clients, he added.
The Data Centre’s portfolio of services will include infrastructure services, core services, managed services, consultancy services, enterprise risk management services and hosted applications, it added.
