REASI, Nov 12: To discuss the arrangements for the employment fair which is being held on November 28 and 29, District Development Commissioner, Reasi, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary convened a meeting of district officers, bankers and other line departments today.
SSP Reasi, M S Chouhan, ACD Reasi, Joginder Rai, Training Placement Officer, SMVDU Katra, B K Bhatia, LDM SBI, Rohit Mehta, GM District Industries Centre, Krishan Lal, KVK, Dr Mandeep Singh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB, Pankaj Gupta, AD Employment, Sulkashna Thakur, Executive Officer of MC Katra & Reasi, Ravi Sharma and Thakur Dass, besides other officers from line department, CRPF and Army also attended the meeting.
In the meeting, the DDC directed the line department for putting up their stalls in the employment fair to disseminate information to the unemployed youth about the various State and Centrally sponsored schemes and programmes. He stressed that youth should be motivated to set up their own income generating units.
Assistant Director Employment Department, Sulkashna Thakur will be the Nodal Officer for the employment fair.
