JAMMU, Mar 9: The J&K UT Government today assigned the charge of the post of Chairman, J&K Pollution Control Committee (PCC) to Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, J&K, Dr Mohit Gera.
Official sources said that post of the Chairman JKPCC, J&K fell vacant after the retirement of Dr Neelu Ghera on February 28, 2023. No senior officer was posted to the important post prior to the retirement of Dr Neelu Gera.
Principal Secretary to the Government, Dheeraj Gupta today assigned the additional charge of the post of Chairman JKPCC to Dr Mohit Gera, PCCF, in addition to his own duties.
