Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 3 held

JAMMU, Nov 12: Bari-Brahmana police today rescued 4 bovine animals and arrested three smugglers.
A police spokesman said that, on specific information, a police team from Bari Brahmana Police Station headed by Inspector Arun Jamwal conducted a raid at Factory Area number 4 and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02AB-7025.
During search, police rescued 4 bovine animals and arrested three persons, who have been identified as Kartar Chand, Goverdhan Singh and Raj Kumar all the residents of Andhar, Arnas. The driver of the vehicle managed to flee from the spot.
The vehicle was seized and a case under FIR number 105/2013 under Section 188 RPC, 3 PCA was registered.
