JAMMU, Mar 12: Gurdeep Singh Pandey (Adv) has been elected as president while Akhil Tandon (Adv) as general secretary of `Roots in PoJK’, a social organization working for the cause of displaced people from Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
In a meeting of the working committee members held here today, it was unanimously decided to reconstitute the Roots in PoJK Committee. While G S Pandey was unanimously inducted as president, Ronik Sharma (Adv) as convenor, Jagdeep Singh (Adv) as vice president, Akhil Tandon as general secretary-cum-spokesperson, Paramjeet Singh -organising secretary and Deepak Sharma as treasurer of the Roots In PoJK organization.
While extending gratitude to the Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha for the construction Samriti Bhawan of martyrs of 1947 in Jammu, new Committee urged the LG to fix a time line for the completion of this Bhawan.
