JAMMU, Mar 14: Continuing its drive against violators, MVD Reasi conducted surprise inspections of the vehicles.
During the inspection, ARTO Rajesh Gupta said four Two-wheeler drivers were caught violating Section 194(D) of the Motor Vehicle Act i:e driving without headgear / helmet.
Gupta said that as per rules, such violations are punishable offence including monetary penalties & suspension of the driver’s license for a period of three months. Four violators were booked by the Motor Vehicles Inspector and their respective licenses were suspended for three months by the ARTO Reasi.
The Motor Vehicle Inspector and ARTO Reasi awared the violators about traffic rules and the general public to to abide by and follow MVD norms in their true spirit.
