UDHAMPUR, Mar 15: Jal Shakti (PHE) Employees & Worker Association president for Udhampur and senior trade union leader Som Nath today alleged that UT Government has failed to solve the genuine issues of daily wagers.
While addressing a large protest meeting of daily wagers from Majalta tehsil of district Udhampur, Som Nath highlight the issues regarding pending wages of 70 months since 2014 and release the pending wages immediately. He said recently, the UT administration of Leh has ordered to enhanced the wages of daily wagers and enhanced the rate of daily wagers on the basis of criteria of skilled, unskilled workers and highly skilled workers as per Minimum Wages Act.
