Budget all inclusive, comprehensive, development oriented: BJP

JAMMU, Mar 15: Y V Sharma, spokesperson, J&K BJP termed the budget for 2023 -2024 as all inclusive, comprehensive and development oriented.
Talking to media persons along with Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, BJP media secretary and Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, in charge BJP Department of Library, Y V Sharma reiterated the commitment of Modi Government to usher in the speedy development of JK by ending the development deficit of years.
“The budget has paid attention to all sectors like health, education, Agriculture, Horticulture, women empowerment, sports, tourism, youth welfare programmes, business and Industrial development, infrastructure, village Panchayats and urban councils, urban housing, to provide tap water to all houses, 24 into 7 power supply and steps necessary for the sustainable development of JK UT,” said Sharma.
Sharma said, “The salient and welcome developments in the budget are the allocation of funds for Robotic Surgery, provision of chemotherapy equipment for all the medical colleges, buildings for colleges and hostels for higher learning, centers for skill learning, women hatts, pink taxes with women drivers and conductors, metro rails, resting places for pilgrims and tourists “.

He said that the most encouraging aspect is that separate and ample funds have been earmarked for almost all the sectors. Special stress has been laid defense, internal security removal of drug addiction and employment to youth, he added.
He said main focus is on good governance, strengthening grass-root democracy, promoting sustainable agriculture, facilitating investment and industrial growth, employment generation, accelerating development and inclusive growth, women empowerment, social inclusion and doubling GDP in next five years.
