JAMMU, Nov 14: A young girl allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Janipur.
As per reports, 22-year-old Neeru, daughter of Kuldeep Kumar of Janipur allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious in the morning today, family members rushed her to Government Hospital, Sarwal and after preliminary treatment she was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advance treatment.
During treatment at GMC Hospital, she failed to respond to the treatment and breathed her last.
The body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites after completing legal formalities
A case in this connection has been registered and investigation started to ascertain the reasons behind such extreme step.
