BJP nominates district presidents for Kashmir

JAMMU, Nov 14: To strengthen the party further and ensure representation to every district in the State, BJP today constituted 10 more districts in Kashmir valley.
The announcement to this effect was made by BJP State vice president and party Prabhari, Kashmir, Ramesh Arora at a press conference here along with its another State vice president, Sofi Yousf and press secretary, Balbir Ram.
He said among the new district presidents nominated by the party for Kashmir valley included Manzoor Ahmed Zargar for Srinagar district, Ali Mohammed Sheikh for Ganderbal district, Manzoor Ahmed Bhat for Budgam district, Mohammed Yousf Beig for Kupwara district, D D Singh for Baramulla district, Manzoor Ahmed Baba for Bandipora district, Riaz Ahmed Manhas for  Shopian district, Gulzar Ahmed Nagroo for Pulwama district, Manzoor Ahmed for Kulgam district and Nazir Ahmed Dar for Anantnag district respectively.
He said the new district presidents were nominated after consultation with party State chief, Jugal Kishore Sharma. He further said that party has a well knit organizational set up in Kashmir and like other parts of the country a massive change has been witnessed in Valley where people do not see BJP as untouchable now.
