RAJOURI, Mar 17: The dead body of a villager was found hanging from a tree in Kalakote area of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that body was seen hanging from a tree by some villagers in Dhanyote area of Kalakote and informed police. Many people of the area also gathered there. The deceased was later identified as Mohd Ishaq, son of Mohd Makhna, a resident of Dhanyote village.
As per family Ishaq left house in the morning to offer prayer in the nearby Mosque and later his body was found hanging from a tree. They suspected it as murder and demanded proper investigation into the matter.
A police team reached the spot and shifted body to Kalakote hospital for postmortem. It started investigation into the matter.
