JAMMU, Mar 18: A trolley involved in illegal mining and four sand dumps were seized by police in Akhnoor area of the District today.
SHO Akhnoor, Inspector Harjeet Singh told the Excelsior that a police team of Akhnoor Police Station under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Lal Sharma seized a trolley loaded with stone and four sand dumps from Ambaran and Naiwala areas in presence of a team of Geology and Mining Department.
“The action was taken since mining was done in violation of a High Court order,” he said.
