Rana calls on Chugh, discusses J&K situation

NEW DELHI, Mar 20: Jammu-Kashmir Core Group member and senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana today met In-charge of Jammu and Kashmir and National general secretary of BJP Tarun Chugh at Central Headquarters of the Party and discussed the current situation and ongoing development works in J&K.
In meeting with Tarun Chugh, Devender Singh Rana said that J&K is on the path of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Appreciating the special provisions given in the budget presented by the Central Government recently, he said that this budget is a budget to establish new dimensions of development in J&K.
He said in this budget, provisions have been made to bring metro rail in Srinagar, giving tap connections in 18.36 lakh houses, investing crores of rupees for construction of roads and bridges. “Besides, special provision for agriculture and horticulture, health and medical education, rural department, electricity and water power department and education has been made,” Rana added.
On behalf of the Jammu Core Group for the special provisions given to J&K in the budget, Rana expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He also thanked Tarun Chugh for his immense contribution in taking up with the Centre the issues of immense public importance of the Union Territory.
