BJP leaders conclude 4 days Khalsi tour

LEH, Nov 15: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Leh conducted a four days village to village Tour in Khalsi block of district Leh. The tour was led by BJP District Leh President Tsering Dorjey Lakrook, former MLA J&K, Ex. CEC LAHDC Leh accompanied by Ex. Executive Councilor Phuntsog Stanzin, BJP Leh general secretary Tsering Yangjor, Dorje Angchuk President BJP Youth Wing Leh and Tsering Murup Working Committee member of BJP Leh.
Tsering Dorjey alleged, total neglect of Khalsi Sub Division in restoration of flood damaged nallahs, head works of khuls, roads and bridges. In the unprecedented flash flood of 2010 like all other parts of Ladakh, Khalsi Sub Division suffered one of the worst damages to public and private infrastructure and properties, he added.
He accused the Congress of misleading the people by promising prompt restoration of flood damaged infrastructures during the election to the fourth LAHDC Leh in 2010. It is heartening to see that even after a lap of three years no restoration work has been done in the whole Khalsi Sub Division.
He said people complained that Shaam area has been totally neglected and it is matter of grave concern.
