JAMMU, Mar 21: BJP J&K Co-Convener Sanskriti, Art and Culture Cell, Sahil Mahajan here today released Sufi Qwali album ‘Pathaan Darbar Di Naukri’.
While launching the album Sahil Mahajan congratulated the producer Rajveer Manni and praised the Singer Ajay Parwana for coming up with the album ‘Pathaan Darbar Di Naukri’.
He said that languages of the region are guardians of the culture and traditions therefore to preserve the culture and ethos of J&K concerted efforts are needed to promote local dialects including Dogri.
The BJP leader said that Dogri is the essence of people and culture of Jammu and likewise other local languages should be given due status to ensure that the rich legacy of J&K is not lost in the hussle-bustle of modern world with English ruling the roost.
The lyrics of the Qwali were written Sonu Raipuria while the music has been composed by Ashh K.
The album was directed by K.K Malhotra.
