KATHUA, June 17: A young house-wife committed suicide after a tiff with husband in Hatli area of Kathua today.
A police spokesman said that 30-year-old Rekha Devi, mother of two children had some altercation with her husband, Khazan Chand over a domestic issue at Khaneva village near Hatli this morning. The woman later consumed some poisonous substance and fell unconscious.
She was rushed to Kathua hospital where she died after some time. The body of the deceased was handed over to the family after postmortem. The police registered a case for investigation.
