Play ‘Ghalib at Quarantine’ to be staged at National Theatre Fests

JAMMU, Mar 22: Natraj Natya Kunj Jammu’s nationally acclaimed Urdu play ‘Ghalib at Quarantine’ is invited to two National Theatre Festivals-Chalo Theatre Festival, Haryana and Amar Kala Mahotsav, Bikaner, Rajasthan.
Organized by Ras Kala Manch Haryana and Kalpana Sangeet and Theatre Sansthaan, Bikaner the venue of these festivals will be P.I.E.T College Panipat and T.M auditorium Bikaner.
Directed by National Sangeet Natak Akademi Yuva Bismillah Khan awardee, Abhishek Bharti, the play ‘Ghalib at Quarantine’ revolves around the character who got stuck at some place amid COVID lockdown. President of the group Kumar A. ‘Bharti’ told reporters that the festival in Panipat is commenced from 21st of March 2023 and will on 24th of March in Bikaner and will feature different aspects of performing Arts including RU-BARU session, Theatre Workshops, Photography Workshops etc.
“The best part is that various film actors and directors will also be the part of these mega events. Eight artists will leave for Panipat and will present two shows of the play on 24th of March at Panipat and then leave for Bikaner, Rajasthan to perform 3rd show on 26th of March 2023,” Bharti maintained.
He said that the eight member team includes Abhishek Bharti, Balwinder Singh, Vishal Pandita, Anu Thakur, Vineet Raina, Anjali Sharma, Aaditya Bharti and Nitish Kumar.
