JAMMU, Mar 22: Dr Manoj Nazir’s book Personality of Flowers hits stands. The book was released at a simple but impressive function organised by Agriculture Displaced Employees Welfare Association (ADEWA) here.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Nazir said the book is about how the flowers influence humans by enhancing the flow of feel good hormone and how the human psyche is influenced by some flowers. This book features clear photography of flower plants that are useful to lift the mood of humans. It includes idea of native flower plants for gardening in this regard, he added.
Dr Nazir is a Floriculture Scientist whose research has been acknowledged all over. This is his sixth research book. The author has 125 research publications so far, developed 17 varieties of Gladiolus and has received 22 awards at national level so far.
The book was released by Sanjay Pandita chairman ADEWA. He appealed the authorities to adopt humanitarian approach in solving the sufferings of migrant employees. He expressed the hope in the LG administration and Union Government in whose active consideration the case file of ADEWA pertaining to leave salary (cash in lieu) is awaiting formal approval.
