JAMMU, Mar 23: A faction of JKNPP today celebrated the 41st Foundation Day of the Party which was founded on Martyrs Day, March 23, 1982 by Prof Bhim Singh here.
The floral tribute were paid to Prof Bhim Singh, alongwith Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev & Raj Guru by all the general secretaries, Provincial presidents, working committee members and district presidents led by PK Ganju working president at Dogra Sadar Sabha Bhawan Jammu. Floral tribute were also paid by Gulchain Singh Charak, president Dogra Sadar Sabha, Nirmal Singh- Labana Sabha, Neeraj Dewan from AAP, Shanker Singh from Apni Party.
All speakers paid rich tribute to Prof Bhim Singh who started his journey from the remote village of Bhguterian, Ramnagar in Udhampur district to become a Legislator, senior Advocate and a great leader. His slogan was “Haq Aur Insaf” & he spent his entire life trying to deliver this to all the people who came to him for any help. He was ever ready to take up cudgels with the Govt on matters he thought were not in favour of public not shying to even knock the doors of the supreme Court of India. The participants passed several resolution on the occasion.
Senior leaders Farooq Ahmed Dar, Abdul Rashid Ganie, Jehangir Khan, Somnik Bhasin, Zareefa Banno, Shyam Gorkha, Surjit Singh, Parveen Kesar, Anita Thakur, Hakikat Singh, Balwan Singh and others were also present.
