JAMMU, Mar 23: 160th battalion of Central Reserve Police Force located at Chatha in Jammu, today organized free Medical camp as per the guidelines of Inspector General Jammu Sector under the guidance of Hariom Khare at Chatha Farm.
Dr Manmohan Meena Medical Officer 160 Battalion, Dr Rashmi Lata Medical Officer, Bantalab, Dr Amrita Puri Medical Officer N.T.H.P.C, Chatta, Dr. Ankush Chauhan H.P.C. Chatta conducted Medical examination of the local citizens and informed them about prevention from serious illness.
During the Medical camp, information was given as well as diseases caused due to changing lifestyle, including heart disease, diabetes, migraine, fatty liver, etc., were made aware about their symptoms, prevention and measures for their prevention and about 260 citizens were screened by the medical officers.
Medicines for various diseases were also distributed. On this occasion Angom Naresh Singh of 160 Bn, Second Commanding Officer, Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Deputy Com Bansi Lal Regar, (Assistant Commandant) and Avtar Singh, Sarpanch Chatha Farm and Pitamber Sharma, local leaders were also present.
On this occasion, Hari Om Khare, Commandant 160th battalion informed that keeping in mind the mantra of first happiness and healthy body, the health of all the citizens has been checked and necessary medicines have also been distributed among them.
He said 160 Battalion from time to time organizes such camps whose aim is that the local citizens living in our jurisdiction remain safe as well as physically and mentally healthy.
