POONCH, Nov 16: In connection with celebration of 65th Poonch Link up Day, the Army unit organized a Run for Fun for school children under the aegis of Poonch Brigade today.
The Day is celebrated every year with gaiety and fervour.
A total of 350 enthusiastic boys and girls from various schools ran through streets of the Poonch town to spread the message of peace and harmony. The run started from the historic Poonch Stadium and culminated at the advanced Landing Ground near the DC’s Office covering a distance of over three kilometers.
The event concluded with the felicitation by the Brigade Commander to the first ten students who completed the run.
