JAMMU, Nov 16: Poni Chack police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 30 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
A police spokesman said that, on specific information, police party from Poni Chack police post laid a naka at Seri Rakwala and intercepted one pedestrian Kuldeep Singh, son of Amrik Singh of Seri Rakwala.
During search, police recovered 30 pouches of illicit liquor and subsequently arrested the bootlegger.
A case under FIR number 423/13 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
