JAMMU, Mar 26: At least six vehicles were seized for mining illegally in Jammu District today, Police said.
They said that two vehicles were seized by Police Station Gharota, one dumper by Police Post Sidhra, one tractor trolley by Police Station Arnia, one tractor trolley by Police Post Phallain Mandal and one tipper by Police Post Tallab Tillo.
The recoveries were made by SHO Gharota, Inspector Joginder Singh Chib; incharge Police Post Sidhra, PSI Arun Singh; SHO Arnia, Inspector Deepak Katoch; incharge Police Post Phallain Mandal, PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal, and incharge Police Post Tallab Tillo, PSI Sonu Choudhary.
“The seized vehicles were mining in violation of a High Court,” police said.
