JAMMU, Mar 27: Namrta Sharma, the President of the Women’s Wing of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Jammu and Kashmir, has criticized the LG Administration for imposing heavy taxes and hiking toll plaza rates, which she believes are breaking the spine of the common people.
In a statement, she accused the BJP Government at the Centre and its “proxy Government in Jammu and Kashmir” of failing miserably on all fronts, leaving the people struggling to afford essential commodities due to inflation and price hikes.
Sharma claimed that the present BJP Government is only for the rich and has failed to fulfil any of its promises made to the people, stating that the people have understood their game plan and will teach them a lesson in the upcoming elections.
She also took a dig at the Union Government for its alleged failure in bringing back the black money from Swiss Bank and for doubling the farmers’ income.
