Murderous attack on widow by two nomads

SUNDERBANI, Mar 29: Two nomads (Bakkerwals) allegedly conducted murderous attack on a widow, leaving her seriously injured at village Dhar, in Panchayat Nah, in Beripattan tehsil og district Rajouri today.         The victim Pooja Devi, widow of Khem Raj told police that two Bakkerwals namely- Irfan Ahmed and Sadiq Ahmed, both sons of Mohammad Aslam, attacked her with lathis when she stopped them not to graze their goats in her fields as the cattle were destroying crop and plants.
She alleged that nomads attacked her with lathis and pelted stones on her and the house as well. They also threatened to kill if she reported the matter to police you.
Her relatives and villagers later shifted her to Sub District hospital Sunderbani and police registered a case in this connection.
Meanwhile, senior Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Amit Sharma, district president of Shiv Sena Pishori Lal Sharma Block president of Shiv Sena Yash Paul Seith condemned the incident. They urged the administration for take strong legal action against accused persons, otherwise, they will go for direct action.
