IDP stages protests demonstration

KATHUA, Mar 31: Internationalists Democratic Platform (IDP) here today staged a protest demonstration at Municipal Office Hiranagar.
The protest was in series after Lakhanpur and Kathua.
IDP leaders in protest expressed concerns over sufferings of J&K peoples.
The protest was held under the leadership of I.D Khajuria and the protesters demanded immediate revocation of Property Tax order.
Addressing protesters I.D Khajuria said that only representatives of people are real custodians to make laws and only they can issue orders of taxes therefore restoration of Statehood and holding of assembly elections at the earliest is required in J&K.
The protesters also demanded stopping of the land eviction drive and rolling back of enhanced electricity bills immediately.
They further demanded immediate resolution of problems of PM package employees and Jammu based employees of reserved categories posted in Kashmir.
