RAJOURI, Mar 31: Three buffaloes and 17 sheep and some poultry birds were charred to death after a house was damaged in fire incident in Manjakote area of Rajouri today.
Locals of the area said that the fire erupted in the house of one Tazeem Akhtar, wife of Late Mohammad Anayat at Panjgrain, Thanda Pani area of Manjakote in which all the belongings were damaged.
BDC Manjakote Jamsheed Begum and SHO Manjakote Zaffer Amin reached the spot and despite lot of efforts by the locals fire could not be controlled. BDC Manjakote asked the District Administration to help the widow as she have no other source of income. The Police has also taken cognizance of the of the matter.
