JAMMU, Nov 18: ICDS Projects, Kot Bhalwal organized Vatsalya Mela which was inaugurated by the District Programme Officer, ICDS, Project Jammu at Muthi and Bhalwal.
On the occasion, Sarpanch, Rajbir Singh, Programme Officer, ICDS Projects, Jammu BMO and BDO Kot Bhalwal spoke on various schemes launched and role of women in the society.
A colourful programme and fancy dress competition was presented by the children and adolescent girls.
Amar Jyoti Rana, CDPO Kot Bhalwal highlighted the role of women in the society and the purpose of celebrating the Vatsalya Mela.
A large number of children, women, Anganwadi workers, Anganwadi helper, adolescent girls, Panchs/ Sarpanchs attended the Mela.
