REASI, Apr 1: Police arrested two drug peddlers from Pouni area and recovered contraband Heroin along with a small weighing machines from their possession, here today.
During naka checking at Dadowa area in Pouni, one Bullet motorcycle bearing registration number JK11C- 1019 was intercepted and stopped. On checking, 2.40 gms of Heroin like substance alongwith a small weighing machine was recovered from the bike rider namely Rahul Sharma, son of Barfi Lal, resident of Prat, Sunderbani. and 2.80 gms from The pillion rider, identified as Reshav Sharma, son of Sham Lal of Prat, Sunderbani, was also carrying 2.80 gms Heroin.
Police arrested both of them and registered a case FIR number 24/2023, under section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act at PS Pouni.
