DB directive on construction of Mini-Sectt Mendhar

JAMMU, Apr 2: In a contempt petition filed by Zulfikar Ahmed Khan and another, a Division Bench of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court comprising Justice Tashi Rabstan and Justice Rajesh Sekri has issued directions for filing actual position regarding the construction and completion of Mini Secretariat at Mendhar failing which the Deputy Commissioner Poonch shall appear in person.
After hearing counsels of both the sides, DB observed, “this court vide order dated 09.11.2021 had directed AAG appearing for the State to file status with regard to the actual position regarding the construction and completion of the Mini Secretariat at Mendhar in Poonch District. However, despite the lapse of more than two years, the status report has not been filed”.
Accordingly, DB granted three weeks further time for doing the needful in terms of order dated 09.11.2021, failing which, the Deputy Commissioner, Poonch shall appear in person before the court on the next date of hearing.
