Billawaria takes stock of problems of Bhor Camp

JAMMU, Apr 2: Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria visited Ward No. 73 Bhor Camp in RS Pura-Jammu South constituency today and took stock of the problems being faced by the people related to roads, street lights, sanitation and other development issues there.
Locals informed Deputy Mayor, that the Bhour camp area was totally ignored by the previous Government. They also expressed their grievances regarding dilapidated conditions of the drainage system and said that children and old aged persons are facing a lot due to the poor drainage system.
While interacting with the people, Deputy Mayor said that the Ward 73, Bhor Camp has been suffering for a long time due to the absence of a roads and proper drainage system. He said that the area of Ward 73 Bhour camp was recently added to the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and assured the general public he would look after the all development process.
He informed that he has asked the officials of concerned departments to immediately prepare estimates and take up the works for remaining roads in the area. He instructed the concerned authorities to take necessary steps to solve the problems faced by the general public of the area. He also announced that the JMC will provide developmental works to the general public of the area. Billawaria also organised a Janata Darbar for the Bhor Camp area in which a large number of residents participated. He said that there was a fruitful discussion with the local residents and many things came to the fore during the Janata Darbar. He assured that the Municipal Corporation would provide all necessary assistance for development and better sanitation in the area.
The Deputy Mayor Jammu, said that JMC is committed to the development of this area and we are working on various projects to ensure that the area is developed further. Billawaria said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is working to make people’s lives better and every effort will be made to improve the living condition of people.
