JAMMU, Apr 2: Dalit OBC Minorities, a wing of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations J&K organized 7th Round Table Conference (RTC) at Khour “for the protection of constitution and democracy.”
Madan Lal, president Guru Ravidas Sabha Khour organized the conference wherein people belonging to SC/ST/OBC/minorities from Khour participated.
R.K Kalsotra, Confederation president while speaking on the occasion said that many such conferences will be held across J&K to educate and make people aware about threats the constitution and democracy are facing.
He raised demands like naming new Parliament building after B.R Ambedkar, reservation, prohibition on privatization, reservation in higher judiciary and private sector, implementation of recommendations of Mandal Commission etc.
Ramesh Bhagat, Madan Lal, Shankar Chand, Gopal Dass, Janak Singh, Babu Ram, Girdhari Lal, Ashok Kumar, Pushpa Devi, Vimla Devi, Pholi Devi, S. Kuldeep Singh, A.N Bhagat, Dr. Ramesh Kaith and others also spoke on the occasion.
